www.ysf.com.mx Youth Sports Foundation YOUTH SPORTS FOUNDATION OF ROCKY POINT SWINGS FOR THE FENCES TO BENEFIT KIDS AND COMMUNITY Youth Sports Foundation of Rocky Point is bringing kids, parents, and community closer together thanks to donated bats, balls, helmets, and other athletic equipment. Youth Sports Foundation of Rocky Point is a non-profit organization created by Founder and President Rick Busa. The Youth Sports Foundation is designed to help improve the quality of life in communities throughout Sonora, Mexico. He says the Youth Sports Foundation has been instrumental in getting kids actively involved in sports and activities that promote healthier lifestyles. At the same time, youngsters are learning valuable social skills, creating new friendships, as well as understanding the importance of discipline and teamwork. Youth Sports Foundation of Rocky Point has been aggressively working to expand and improve support programs and activities in local communities, but these efforts have been quite challenging. Many of these cities and towns are financially depressed, making it extremely difficult to provide kids with the ability to participate in sports activities. The Youth Sports Foundation says much of the equipment is old and worn. In fact, it isn't uncommon to see kids using gloves made out of cardboard on the baseball field.
